DAN 194 - Applied Dance: Jazz2 credit hours - One and one-half hours of individual instruction weekly. Improve and strengthen dance technique with one-on-one instruction to prepare for auditioning, transferring, performance preparation, or personal enrichment. Course may be repeated for a total of four credit hours. Lab fee $350.
Prerequisite(s): DAN 105 or DAN 111 or DAN 121 or DAN 125 or DAN 131 or DAN 211 or permission of the department chair.
Note: Individual instruction is available for the following: Ballet, Improvisation, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, and Tap.

- Access needs and desired outcome within the specified technique of choice.
- Identify movement habits.
- Demonstrate proper form every class.
- Summarize comments made in class and keep an ongoing journal throughout the semester to solidify corrections and to encourage thought process beyond the studio to enhance learning.
