CTA 224 - Agile Testing3 credit hours - Three hours lecture weekly; one term. Learn the Agile project management philosophy and the associated Scrum methodology for project facilitation. Compare and contrast the skills needed for testing using Agile versus Scrum. Learn to assist business stakeholders in defining testable acceptance criteria; for example, given a user story, write acceptance test-driven development test cases. Perform testing to support an Agile project.
Prerequisite(s): CTA 124 ; and eligibility for ENG 101 /ENG 101A .
Course Outcomes:

Examine the Agile software development approach, the advantages of the whole team approach, and the benefits of early and frequent feedback.

Compare and contrast the difference between testing activities in Agile and non-Agile, and the role of independent testing in Agile.

Use different Agile testing methods such as test-driven development, acceptance development, and behavior-driven development.

Assess the quality risks and interpret relevant information to support testing activities.
