About the Cybersecurity, Networking, and Digital Forensics Department

Purpose: This certificate is designed for students who have previous IT experience either from job or prior learning. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of computer systems and networking including Windows Server, TCP/IP, Virtualization, etc. Students may be changing careers, transitioning back into the workforce and/or former military. 

A grade of C or better is required in each (Cloud Computing certificate) course requirement.

To graduate with a certificate, students must have demonstrated eligibility for ENG 101  or ENG 101A . Refer to Academic Regulations on Graduation Requirements .

  2. Summarize the process of designing cloud-based solutions
  3. Design and configure cloud-based services and solutions
  4. Secure and manage access to cloud-based networks and services
  5. Implement cloud backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  6. Implement identity and access management schemes
