COM 230 - Persuasive Message Strategies3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Learn cutting-edge persuasive communication strategies used in interpersonal communication, including the areas of advertising and political campaigns. Examine current research on persuasion and how the media frames issues. Gain the knowledge and skills to create and evaluate persuasive messages.

- Research, organize, and prepare a written and oral presentation that is appropriate for its purpose, context, and audience.
