Continuation of SGT 205 . Apply the theories and content learned in previous surgical technology courses. Continue to build on the knowledge base and the skills needed to perform as a surgical technologist in all areas of the surgical setting. Lab fee $300. Clinical fee $150.
Prerequisite(s): SGT 205 with a grade of C or better.
Corequisite(s): SGT 202 and SGT 209 .

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate preparation of the operating room for assigned surgical procedures.

4. Demonstrate the postoperative care of a patient for assigned surgical procedures.
5. Describe each behavior as it relates to the role of the surgical team member.
