HEB 112 - Elementary Hebrew 23 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term.
This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement.
Continuation of HEB 111 with emphasis on speaking, reading and writing.
Prerequisite(s): HEB 111 or one year of high school Hebrew or permission of department chair.
Note: Not for native speakers.
Course Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Use Hebrew grammatical structures at a high elementary level.
2. Use home-, work-, and weather-related vocabulary in the target language.
3. Read and write in Hebrew at a high elementary level.
4. Speak in Hebrew at a high elementary level.
5. Discuss elements of Israeli culture.
