ELL 317 - Advanced Reading and Writing4 equivalent hours - One Term This continuing education course is designed for advanced level non-native speakers of English and provides instruction on academic reading comprehension skills and employing the writing process to develop formal academic essays.
Topics include reading skills and strategies, expanding academic vocabulary, with a focus on using the writing process to compose academic essays.
Prerequisite(s): ELL 314 or Accuplacer LOEP testing placement.
