Prerequisite(s): SGT 100 and SGT 102 with a C or better.

Course Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Integrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology with the process of understanding pathophysiology and surgical interventions.
- Identify surgically treatable diseases and conditions of each body system, relevant diagnostic tests, and appropriate surgical treatments.
- Analyze the operative sequence using appropriate medical terminology, including identifying necessary supplies, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Describe perioperative care, considerations, and potential complications for the surgical patient.
