Purpose: A degree in psychology is a traditional and well-established major offered at almost all universities across the country. This area of concentration prepares students for continuation to a BS/BA in Psychology. Anne Arundel Community College can readily supply the initial core class requirements for such degrees. In addition, this concentration can prepare students for employment in any number of fields that engage the social sciences. The degree can lead to a variety of professions - from the social sciences to business and beyond.
