About the School of Health Sciences
Purpose: This certificate is designed to provide a basis for further study in the health sciences field leading to a career. The Health Sciences Certificate provides a course of study designed to meet the needs of students who plan to study and transfer to a college that grants an associate degree in various Health Sciences programs as well as eligibility to Anne Arundel Community College Health Sciences programs. This special-purpose certificate is not intended to be a stand-alone program for work in the health sciences field. Students must speak with an advisor before enrolling in this program to ensure they select the appropriate general education and elective courses.
Note: The Health Sciences certificate is bundled with the Transfer Studies A.A. degree at time of admissions, as the course requirements for the certificate are stackable in the program and will fulfill course requirements for the Transfer Studies degree.
